  • Bloomington Drivers Education Classroom - Spring

Bloomington Public School's Driver's Education program is now collaborating with A+ Driving School to provide students more classroom instruction options. These classes are for students not signed up to take it as a credit during their regular school day. A+ Driving School can also provide you with "one-on-one" Behind-the-Wheel lessons that are tailored to each student's abilities and needs. The first step in Driver's Education training is classroom instruction. Students must complete all 30 hours of classroom training. Students may register if they are currently 15 years of age or if their 15th birthday is within one month prior to the 1st day of class or within one month after the last class. After classroom instruction is completed, the student will receive a letter of completion. Once the student has registered for Behind-the-Wheel, the blue card will be issued. The student will take the blue card along with the appropriate ID, social security number, corrective lenses (if needed), and fee to a Minnesota Drivers and Vehicle Services location. Refunds will not be issued after starting the class. Transportation is not provided and high school credits are not earned for the driver education classes. A reminder letter will be sent prior to the start of class.
